“Gegege no Mystery” is now available with Hanafuda motif goods such as Mizuki and Kitaro’s father! Also the blood product M die-cut cushion!?

From the movie “Kitaro’s Birth: The Mystery of the Greedy,” 10 new items have been released, including the “Eye-Black Pouch” and the “Big Acrylic Stand.” Reservations have now begun at “Bancole!” on Premium Bandai.

The film “Kitaro’s Birth: The Mystery of Gegege,” commemorating the 100th anniversary of manga artist Mizuki Shigeru’s birth, is a feature-length film based on the sixth season of the TV anime, depicting the origins of the series surrounding the birth of Kitaro. He won the Best Animated Film at the 47th Japan Academy Awards for his portrayal of the former eyed man, Kitaro’s father, and the human Mizuki, for his encounter with the two of them, and his fate to face them.

A special edition of “Kitaro’s Birth: The Mystery of Gegege: The Real Life Edition,” which brushes up the footage and sound of the film, will also be released in October 2024. In April 2025, the masterpiece selection “GeGeGe no Kitaro My Loved All Time GegeGeGe” commemorating the 10th anniversary of Mizuki Shigeru’s death has begun.

Kitaro’s father, Mizuki, Kitaro, Cat Girl, Ryuga Ome, Ryuga Binge, Nagata Kouji, Nagata Genji. The characters who appeared in the movie “Kitaro’s Birth: The Mystery of Gegege” appear all at once as items using exclusive illustrations from Bandai BANDAI SPIRITS, based on the Hanafuda motif.

In addition to the “big acrylic stand,” the lineup includes the “PIICA + clear pass case” that shines on top of an IC card, a “portrait bath towel” that is large at approximately 120cm in height, and a “hand towel” with original illustrations and four scenes designed in addition to the scene.

There is also a “Metama Oyaji Pouch” that can be worn on small items or bags, a “bath bag”, a “pouch”, and a “reversible tote bag” designed by Kitaro’s father and Mizuki, a “Glowing! T-shirt” using luminous ink to make it in the dark, and a “Die-Cut Cushion” made by Ryuga Pharmaceutical in the story.

Pre-orders for each item are now being accepted for a limited time until 11pm on June 8th at Bancole!, Premium Bandai. Products will be shipped and general releases will be scheduled to take place one after another from July.

Bancole is home to five Bandai Namco Cross Store stores nationwide (Tokyo, Yokohama, Hakata, Sendai, which opens on April 18th, and Nagoya, which opens on the 24th)! The corner will be offering advance sales starting April 24th.
