Spring arrives with the cherry blossom pattern acstagram of Doraemon ♪ New goods are now available in Sanrio’s “I’m Doraemon” series

The I’m Doraemon series, which offers a lineup of Sanrio-designed Doraemon merchandise, has released a seasonal cherry blossom-patterned acrylic stand, a mini-face pouch that is useful for travel, and a cute plush toy tape measure with a round shape. “Doraemon” is a highly popular manga by Fujiko F. Fujio, one of Japan’s most popular manga. The story depicts the laughter and emotion that Doraemon, a cat-shaped robot that has come from the future, and together with her best friend Nobita, uses mysterious secret tools to wake up. The series began serialization in Shogakukan’s “Grade-specific Learning Magazine,” and in 2020 it marked its 50th anniversary.

The TV anime began airing on TV Asahi in 1979, and the following year, 1980, the theatrical anime version of Doraemon: Nobita’s Dinosaur was released. In 2013, the cumulative number of audiences for the anime theatrical version had exceeded 100 million. Starting March 7th, 2025, Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Illustrations World Story, the 44th film in the series, is now available.

“I’m Doraemon” is a merchandise series designed by Sanrio for adult fans. The charming designs are unique and adorable, with hand-drawn touches, crayon paintings, and Japanese-style designs.
