The second season of the TV anime “Yakusha no Hitorigoto” (starting broadcast on Friday, January 10, 2025) will be broadcast for free on the new future TV “ABEMA” from 24:30 midnight on January 10, 2025. “Apothecary’s Monogoto” is a mystery-solving entertainment based on the novel of the same name by Natsu Hinata. Set in the Inner Palace, the story depicts Neomako, a girl who used to be a pharmacist and has become a poison detector, as she uses her knowledge of poisons and medicine to solve various difficult cases that occur in the Imperial Palace one after another. It has also been made into a comic in two monthly magazines, “Big Gangan” and “Sunday GX,” and the cumulative circulation of the series has exceeded 38 million copies.
The first season of the TV anime will be broadcast in two consecutive seasons from October 2023, and the mystery drama about Maomako, a girl who loves poison, and the comical interactions between Maomako and the beautiful eunuch, Jinshi, are popular. It was also ranked #1 trending on X (formerly Twitter). The second season, which is scheduled to start airing in two consecutive seasons from January 10th, has many fans paying attention to it as a long-awaited new work.
It has been decided that the second season of the TV anime “Yakusha no Hitorigoto” will be broadcast for free on “ABEMA.”
The first episode will be distributed from 24:30 midnight on January 10, 2025, and from the second episode onwards, it will be released every Friday from 24:30. It will also be broadcast for free on ABEMA Anime Channel at the same time as the distribution starts, and the latest episodes will also be distributed for free for one week after the broadcast.
Furthermore, to commemorate the decision to distribute the second season, all episodes of the first season of the TV anime will be broadcast for free at once. All 24 episodes of the first season will be aired from 7pm on December 13th and from 6pm on the 14th the following day.
