“Boilepi: Easy Breakfast That Will Make Your Heart Throb” is a cookbook that allows you to create recipes using the voices of a total of 32 popular voice actors, including Takuya Eguchi and Yuichiro Umehara, and where you can enjoy “cooking while cooking” while boosting your mood by listening to the recipes “Boilepi.” It has been announced that the book will be released at bookstores and online bookstores nationwide from December 5, 2024.
Audio content is being used more and more, such as “listening while on the move” and “listening while cooking or doing housework.” As more and more people cook and do housework while listening to music or the radio, what kind of content do they choose to accompany their cooking?
The “Boilepi (Voice Recipe)” that you can listen to in “Boilepi: Heart-pounding Easy Breakfast” begins with a drama scene that makes you feel like you are spending your morning with a voice actor, and then you can actually have a morning while listening to the recipe read out loud. It’s a recipe that lets you hear how to make rice.
It has been serialized on the web media ISMu as “Boilepi♪ Breakfast” since April 2020, and has been published up to #43 as of November 2024. This is a long-awaited book version of the unprecedented new content of “cooking x audio.”
The paper introduces breakfasts that will lift your mood and make your heart flutter, sorted by theme. There are plenty of recipes that will make your morning a little more fun, including “delicious and easy” ones, as well as cafe-style and breakfasts from around the world.
Each recipe comes with a voice recording, and 32 popular voice actors active in anime and games participated, including Takuya Eguchi, KENN, Sougo Nakamura, Yuichiro Umehara, and Hiroki Nanami. If you read the two-dimensional code posted for each recipe, it will call out to you in its best voice and tell you the recipe.
Boilepi can be enjoyed not only while listening to and cooking together, but also as a preparation before actually making a dish, or as a radio-style listening experience. There are many elements that you can enjoy without having to cook. Along with the sounds of cooking, such as cutting, baking, and boiling, you can also enjoy the voices of voice actors saying “Good morning” and “Please enjoy!”. Recently, a voice-reply version of “Cooking rice cooked in a pot and easy chirimen sansho” with the voice of Yuichiro Umehara, which will be included in the book, was released, so be sure to check it out.
