“The Brave Punishment” will be broadcast in 2025! Yohei Azagami and Mayu Iizuka cast 2nd teaser visual released

It has been decided that the TV anime “The Brave Punishment: Punishment Hero 9004 Corps Penal Record” will be broadcast in 2025. Along with this, the second teaser visual has been released. It was also announced that Yohei Azagami and Mayu Iizuka will appear, and comments have arrived. It has also been revealed that a new project will be launched to introduce the behind-the-scenes of the production in preparation for the TV anime broadcast.
“Punishment of Heroes: Punishment Hero 9004 Corps Penal Records” is a dark fantasy based on a novel by Rocket Company. The story depicts the battle between the Punished Hero and the Demon King’s army – a criminal who is punished by being called a “Hero” who is revived even if he is killed and fights against the Demon King without being allowed to die. The original work began serialization on the novel submission site “Kakuyomu” in October 2020, and the first volume of the book was published by “KADOKAWA (Dengeki’s New Literature)” in September 2021.
1st place in the Kakuyomu User Award[User Recommendation Category]of “Kakuyomu Awards 2020”, 2nd place in the “Next Light Novel Award 2021”[General Category]and[Books/Novels]in “This Light Novel is Amazing! 2023” It has been gaining popularity, winning 3rd place in the[General New Works Category]and 5th place in the[General New Works Category](*1st place in the new book category), and will be made into a long-awaited TV anime.
The second teaser visual that was recently released depicts the main character, Zyro Forberts, standing up against a powerful enemy. Cast information has also been announced, with Yohei Azagami playing the role of Zyro, a former commander of the Holy Knights who became a hero of punishment for committing the deadly sin of killing a Goddess, and Iizuka playing the role of Teolita, the sword goddess who makes a contract with Zyro. It turns out that Asui will be in charge. Azagami and Iizuka also posted comments.
In addition, in preparation for the TV anime broadcast, a new project “Animation Production Record of Punishing the Hero” has been launched to introduce the behind-the-scenes of the production. In the future, illustrations and settings that allow you to see the animation production process, as well as interview content with production staff, etc., will be released one after another.
