“Flowers Bloom, Shura no Gotoku” Main Visual

“Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku” is being serialized in “Ultra Jump” and “Sound!” Euphonium’s Ayano Takeda expresses the growth of a high school student’s mind in this youthful story written by up-and-coming author Mushu with delicate strokes. The story depicts Kana, who lives on Junarushima, a small island with a population of 600 people, who joins the broadcasting club in high school and deepens her love of reading with her friends.

The main visual released this time depicts Kana and her friends seriously devoting themselves to the activities of the broadcasting club. The visuals of Shura Saionji, a rival with an overwhelming talent for reading, were also unveiled for the first time. The main PV gives a glimpse of the youth story unfolding by the unique club members, as well as the efforts and conflicts behind it, giving you a feel of the atmosphere of the main anime. Opening theme by SHISHAMO “Jiji Kakumei”, Sato. You can also listen to the sound source of the ED theme “Roro”, so be sure to give it a listen.

It has also been announced that additional cast members will include Koji Yusa as the narcissistic broadcasting club advisor Hiromi Kichijoji, and Yoko Hikasa as Shura Saionji, last year’s winner of the N-con recitation category. An advance screening and talk show will also be held on December 7th at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo. On the day of the event, in addition to the fastest screening of episodes 1 and 2 of the anime, there will also be 4 actors: Noriyoshi Todera who plays the role of Kana Haruyama, Miyuri Shimabukuro who plays the role of Mizuki Usui, Shoya Chiba who plays the role of Hagi Toga, and Seiichiro Yamashita who plays the role of Matsuyuki Akiyama. A talk by name is also planned. Tickets are on sale at the theater, so be sure to apply early.
