The synopsis and preliminary scene cut of the 8th episode “Natsume on the Moonlit Night”, which will be broadcast on Monday, November 25, 2024, from the fall anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends Urushi” have been released.
“Natsume’s Book of Friends” is an Ayakashi contract story based on the manga currently being serialized in Hakusensha’s “LaLa” by Yuki Midorikawa, whose cumulative domestic circulation has exceeded 17 million copies. Takashi Natsume, a boy who has been able to see monsters since he was a child, inherits his grandmother Reiko’s legacy, the Book of Friends, and spends his days working with his self-proclaimed bodyguard, Nyanko-sensei, to give back to the monsters whose names were tied to the book.
Natsume begins to explore the path he should take through interactions with demons and the people involved, and with the help of friends who share his feelings, he tries to find a way to protect his precious days. “Natsume’s Book of Friends Urushi” is the latest TV anime series that is in its seventh season.
Episode 8 “Natsume on a Moonlit Night” Synopsis
One day, Nishimura sees Natsume running away from the back of the school building and picks up the doll’s finger on the spot.
That night, when Natsume brings back the finger, thinking it might be Natsume’s lost item, Natsume suddenly comes to visit. Natsume offers advice to Nishimura, who is surprised but tries to return the finger.

The 8th episode of the TV anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends Urushi”, “Natsume on the Moonlit Night”, will be broadcast on the TV Tokyo network from November 25th (Monday).
