The synopsis and preliminary scene cuts of the fall anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends Urushi”, which will be broadcast on December 2, 2024 (Monday), episode 9, “The One Who Obstructs the Ceremony,” have been released.
“Natsume’s Book of Friends” is an Ayakashi contract story based on the manga currently being serialized in Hakusensha’s “LaLa” by Yuki Midorikawa, whose cumulative domestic circulation has exceeded 17 million copies. Takashi Natsume, a boy who has been able to see monsters since he was a child, inherits his grandmother Reiko’s legacy, the Book of Friends, and spends his days working with his self-proclaimed bodyguard, Nyanko-sensei, to give back to the monsters whose names were tied to the book.
Natsume begins to explore the path he should take through interactions with demons and the people involved, and with the help of friends who share his feelings, he tries to find a way to protect his precious days. “Natsume’s Book of Friends Urushi” is the latest TV anime series in its seventh season.
Episode 9 “Those Who Obstruct the Ceremony” Synopsis
Natsume and Nyanko-sensei visit the former Yojima residence at Natori’s invitation, and follow the flying cloth until they arrive at the Miharu residence, one house away.
There, the Matoba family is preparing for a ceremony to welcome the Sanhashira, the guardian deities of the Miharu family.
Natsume and his friends accidentally get in their way, so they decide to help them as an apology.
However, there seems to be someone in the mansion who is disrupting the ritual.
The 9th episode of the TV anime “Natsume’s Book of Friends Urushi”, “The One Who Obstructs the Ceremony”, will be broadcast on the TV Tokyo network from December 2nd (Monday).
