It has been decided that Sakurazaka Hiroshi’s science fiction novel “All You Need Is Kill” will be made into an anime. As a result, project information, special report PV, and teaser visuals have been released. Comments from director Akimoto Kenichiro also arrived.
“All You Need Is Kill” is a science fiction novel by Sakurazaka Hiroshi published in 2004. This film, which depicts innovative time loop settings and powerful growth, had a major impact on the Time loop science fiction boom, and was made into a Hollywood film in 2014 starring Tom Cruise.
In the same year, it was also adapted into a manga illustrated by Obata Takeshi, making it a work that has a huge influence both domestically and internationally.
It has been decided that “All You Need Is Kill” will be an animated work under Warner Bros Japan LLC.
The animation production is produced by STUDIO4°C, which has a unique presence in the Japanese animation world. STUDIO4°C has released challenging and original works such as Tekkon Kinkreat and Child of the Sea, combining traditional drawing techniques with the latest visual techniques. Its unique visual expression has been highly praised by film festivals and critics around the world.
The director is Akimoto Kenichiro, a well-known video creator. He has pursued cutting-edge animation expressions in numerous video works up until now, and is particularly well-known for his skill in delicately portraying the characters’ emotions.
