The anime “Assassination Classroom” celebrated its 10th anniversary today, January 9, 2025, since the first episode aired on January 9, 2015. To commemorate this occasion, congratulatory comments have arrived from Jun Fukuyama, who played the role of Korosensei, director Seiji Kishi, Makoto Uezu, who composed and wrote the series, and Kazuaki Morita, who designed the characters. Additionally, Morita’s original 10th anniversary illustrations and non-credit videos of seven opening and ending songs from the anime Assassination Classroom were also released.
As part of the 10th anniversary project, it has already been announced that all 47 episodes of the anime will be rebroadcast on Fuji TV and other channels starting April 2025. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the broadcast of the first episode, we have received congratulatory comments from the cast and staff of the anime series. Jun Fukuyama, who played the role of Korosensei, posted a congratulatory video, director Seiji Kishi, series composition and scriptwriter Makoto Uezu, and character designer Kazuaki Morita posted congratulatory comments.

“Assassination Classroom” was shocking from the first episode. I was hooked right away, and started buying Jump again every week. From that time on, I had wanted to make my own animation, but I thought that it was a dream that would never come true in terms of my young career.
Then it’s a miracle! I remember like it was yesterday how happy I was when I was asked to compose the series. The entire anime staff worked together with all their might! I can’t believe that more than 10 years have passed since those hot days. Please continue to love me forever!
