Welcome back to the I Am Anime website
The last I am Anime talk event of 2024 is “Year-Old Animation Talk 2024”. As the title suggests, this is an event where we talk about various things about drawing. The event will be held on Sunday, December 8th. The venue is LOFT/PLUS ONE.
The main guest of the first part is Yutaka Nakamura. He will talk about his recent work as storyboard and animation director for “My Hero Academia THE MOVIE Your Next,” including the activities of the animators who participated. This talk should help solve the mystery of the “Nakamura part,” which had a lot to offer.
The main guest for the second part is China. The theme of the talk was the making of his directorial work “First Line.” What was your purpose in creating this work? This will be a talk while looking at the materials.
The third part is currently being planned, but it is likely to be a “drawing discussion session.”
Other than Yutaka Nakamura and China, the cast members who have been confirmed are animator and director Kenichi Kutsuna, and editor-in-chief of I am Anime Oguro. We will let you know once other performers have been decided.
In the first part, a storyboard drawn by Mr. Nakamura will be projected on the screen, and the discussion will proceed while looking at it. Only those present at the venue will be able to view the storyboard. You cannot see the storyboard for that part during the broadcast. note that.
This event will also consist of a very short “after talk” after the “main part.” There will also be a stream, but only the main part will be streamed. The after talk can only be seen by customers who were present at the venue.
Twitcasting will be performed in real time on LOFT CHANNEL, and after the Twitcasting archive is distributed, it will be distributed on I am Anime Channel. In addition, TwitCasting distribution has a system called “throwing coins”. Proceeds from the “tossing coins” will be distributed to the performers and the I am Anime Editorial Department. I am Anime Channel can be viewed by channel members.
I am Anime books will be sold at the venue. We plan to sell autographed copies of “Yutaka Nakamura Animation Original Art Collection vol.2” and “Vol.3” by Mr. Nakamura.

■About I am Anime talk event
The series of talk events held by the I am Anime Editorial Department are very simple, focusing mainly on creators’ stories or fan talk, unlike those that are put up by eventers. Most of the performers are not used to speaking in front of people, and there may be some areas where the progression or structure is lacking. I would like to apologize in advance for that.
