[New Bungeiza x Anime Style Vol.189] Oshii Mamoru Film Festival 2025 (Stand-Eater Edition)

The screening event, “Oshii Mamoru Film Festival,” will restart. This is a project that will screen a series of works directed by Oshii Mamoru, and in this series we plan to cover all the maniacal works that are difficult to watch in cinemas. Just like the other[Shin Bungeiza x I am Anime]we will be delivering this in a joint project between Shin Bungeiza and I am Anime.

The first episode of the Oshii Mamoru Film Festival 2025 on Saturday, May 3rd will be the “Stand-Eater Edition.” The “List of the Stage Songs” and “The Stage Songs” feature an important motif for Director Oshii.
Director Oshii also serves as the original and scriptwriter for “The Standing Eater’s Legend.” This is an unusual work created in the unique style of “Super Livemation,” an animation using live-action photographs. It’s also a hot topic that people from the industry, including Kawamori Masaharu and Kamiyama Kenji, appearing in photos.
“The Legend of the Shin Tachi-Kuji” is an omnibus work by multiple directors, and Oshii is the original, general director, opening director, director of the opening director, director of “Goldfish Princess: Tortoiseshell Candy” and the script for the central commercial.
