234th Anime Style Event Sugii Gisaburo and Movies, Anime, and Animation
Welcome back to the I Am Anime website
Director Gisaburo Sugii is a famous director who has left behind wonderful works such as “Kenji Miyazawa: Night on the Galactic Railway,” “Murasaki Shikibu: The Tale of Genji,” “Touch,” and “Goku’s Great Adventure.”
The second talk event with Director Sugii as a guest will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025. The interviewer will be Chief Editor Oguro.
Last time’s theme was “Anime and Animation,” but this time’s theme is “Movies, Anime, and Animation.” As for my works, I plan to touch on “Nine,” “Touch,” and “Kenji Miyazawa: Night on the Galaxy Express.”
This event will also be streamed. Twitcasting will be performed in real time on LOFT CHANNEL, and after the Twitcasting archive is distributed, it will be distributed on I am Anime Channel. In addition, Twitcasting has a system called “Tsukei”. Proceeds from the “tossing coins” will be distributed to the performers and the I am Anime Editorial Department. I am Anime channel distribution can be viewed by channel members.
Tickets go on sale from 12:00 on Saturday, January 18th. For tickets, please visit the Loft Group page below.
In addition, Mr. Sugii’s previous talk event “230th I am Anime Event: Gisaburo Sugii and Anime and Animation” can still be viewed on the I am Anime Channel. I am Anime Channel is a service for members.

■About I am Anime talk event
The series of talk events held by the I am Anime Editorial Department are very simple, focusing mainly on creators’ stories or fan talk, unlike those that are put up by eventers. Most of the performers are not used to speaking in front of people, and there may be some areas where the progression or structure is lacking. I would like to apologize in advance for that.
