“Eva” has a great impact! Sakiel’s bag, Yashima Operation T-shirt, Nagisa Kaworu’s tote bag… 20 Graniff collaboration items now available♪

The TV anime “Neon Genesis Evangelion” has released apparel and fashion goods, including T-shirts in collaboration with Graniff, a graphic item. It will be available for sale at its official online store and domestic stores from March 25th.

“Neon Genesis Evangelion,” which Anno Hideaki released in 1995 as a 26-episode TV anime series, is a science fiction anime that depicts the battle between a boy and a girl riding a giant humanoid battle weapon and a mysterious “amateur.” The grand worldview and detailed settings that were crafted down to the smallest detail attracted many fans, and as soon as the media was developed into comics, movies, and games, it caused a social phenomenon.

In 2021, the final film of the series, “Shin Evangelion The Movie,” was released, and it recorded box office revenue of 10.28 billion yen, the biggest hit in the series.

Characters from Neon Genesis Evangelion, including Ikari Shinji, Ayanami Rei, Soryu Asuka Langley, and Evangelion Unit 1, have now been made into apparel and fashion items in collaboration with Graniff. A total of 20 items will be available that express a unique worldview.

■”Yashima Operation | Side Gusset T-shirt”
This T-shirt features Operation Yashima, which was carried out in episode 6, “Decisive Battle, 3rd New Tokyo City,” to intercept the 5th Apostle Ramiel. The first unit is embroidered with Ramiel in the pocket on the chest and a Positron sniper rifle at the hem of the back.

■”Welcome | Big Silhouette T-shirt”

■”Neon Genesis Evangelion | Big Silhouette Open Collar Shirt”
A short-sleeved shirt designed with a pattern that combines the opening animation and subtitles each time. The hem is finished with a square cut and has a neat finish, making it easy to use as a cover-up.

■”Magma Diver | Climbing Shorts”
Shorts inspired by the “magma diver.” The front is equipped with D-type local battles that enter the lava, and the back pocket is embroidered with Unit 1, which throws a progressive knife towards the lava to be delivered to Asuka. The tip of the belt is woven with a progressive knife.

■”Fifth Children | 2-way tote bag”
A 2-way tote bag with embroidery showing the scene where Nagisa Kaworu watches Unit 1 and Unit 2 join together. Made from thick 16 oz canvas fabric, the wide gusset of approximately 130 mm can be stored generously. The shoulder strap can be adjusted in length.

■”Yashima Operation | Bucket Hat”
A bucket hat with a standard silhouette. Like the aforementioned “side gusset T-shirt”, Operation Yashima has been boldly designed. Made of cotton, it can be used all year round.

Other features include the “NERV Shadow T-shirt” featuring the popular Graniff character “Beautiful Shadow” as “NERV Shadow T-shirt” that features Ikari Gendo and Fuyuzuki, the “Starting! Climbing Pants” inspired by the Unit 1, which starts from the outlet to the ground, the “Sakiel Mini Shoulder Bag” which is an impressive shoulder bag that expresses the Third Apostle Sakiel with appliques and embroidery, and the “Machine 1, Middle Socks” with a jacquard knit head.

Each item will be on sale from March 25th at all Graniff stores (excluding outlets) and at Graniff’s official online store. Advance reservations are now being accepted at the official online store until March 24th.
