The TV anime “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA” will be broadcast on Yomiuri TV and Nippon Television nationwide from April 5, 2025 on Saturdays at 5:30pm. The main visual, PV, scene cuts, and opening theme information have been released. Additionally, additional cast members Onishi Kenharu, Sakaguchi Shuhei, Ichinose Kana, and Inoue Tsuyoshi will appear, and cast comments have been received.

The original work of “Shin Samurai Den: YAIBA” is the manga “YAIBA” that Aoyama Gosho, who has produced numerous hit works such as “Detective Conan,” “Majik Kaito,” and “No. 4 Third,” was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday from issue 39 in 1988 to issue 50 in 1993. The total number of copies of the total of 24 volumes is 17 million.

A action action drama unfolds in which Kurogane Yaiba, a wild samurai who is practicing in the jungle, returns to Japan after a sudden turn of events and advances straight to the samurai spirit in search of even greater strength in a new training ground.

The video features main characters such as Haya, Sayaka, and Onimaru, along with the opening theme “BLADE,” sung by emotional guitar rock band BLUE ENCOUNT, which was revealed this time.

Additional characters such as Gerozaemon, Sea Cucumber Man, Spider Man, and Sasaki Kojiro also appear. The voice actor has also been revealed, with Onimaru’s subordinate, Gerota Gerozaemon, the one in the Devil of Yaki, played by Onimaru’s subordinate, while Sakaguchi Shuhei will play the spider man, and Ichinose Kana will play the man who is also his subordinate.
And Inoue Tsuyoshi was in charge of Sasaki Kojiro, a samurai from the Edo period who once competed on equal terms with Miyamoto Musashi. Comments have been received from the four of them.

Sea cucumber male role: Ichinose Kana

I’m honored to be able to appear on YAIBA.
The sea cucumber man has a smaller body than anyone else, but he is a cute character who works harder. It was a role I had never played before, so I headed to the recording set with excitement, but I enjoyed recording while being surrounded by very kind seniors. We hope you enjoy it.

Sasaki Kojiro: Inoue Tsuyoshi

I will play Sasaki Kojiro! happy! When it was decided, I was so unrealistic (hey, Inoue-san is going to do it…) and instead took it calmly.
But I’m happy! Kojiro, who is cool but playful, is my favorite character in YAIBA, so I’m also looking forward to seeing Kojiro play in the anime!
