“Mobile Fighter G Gundam” “My short jacket burns bright red!” Introducing warm cotton jackets featuring God, Master, and Shining♪

At “STRICT-G”, an apparel shop that incorporates the world view of the “Mobile Suit Gundam” series, a “cotton short jacket” commemorating the 30th anniversary of “Mobile Fighter G Gundam” is now available. Pre-orders are now being accepted for 3 types and 6 types of Hanten in collaboration with manufacturer Miyata Orimono on the online shopping site Premium Bandai’s “STRICT-G Online Store”.

“Mobile Fighter G Gundam” began broadcasting on April 22, 1994. The story takes place in the Gundam Fight, where Gundams representing colony nations engage in fierce battles once every four years in order to win control of Earth to their own countries.

The story depicts Domon Kash, who participated in the 13th Gundam Fight as a representative of Neo Japan, deepening bonds of friendship and trust as he exchanges fists with formidable rivals, and confronts the enemy of humanity, Devil Gundam. Although it is part of the Gundam series, it is set in a world other than the Universal Century, and is the forerunner of the Alternative Series.

This product is a collaboration with Miyata Orimono, a long-established manufacturer founded in 1920. We are a cotton fabric manufacturing company in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Prefecture that started out as a Kurume Kasuri weaving company and has been in business for over 100 years.

The “cotton hanten” has a slightly modern design in terms of material, color, and shape. This is a model with an elegant and retro look, reconsidering the long-standing cotton hanten style and cutting the bottom of the sleeves.
The outer material is made of Nadeshiko, a Japanese cotton with impressive sashiko patterns. The weaving process is done in-house in Japan, and the process of inserting and binding the cotton is done carefully by hand, one by one.

There are three types of designs with impact that express Japanese taste. The “God Gundam pattern” with a dynamic brush painting on the back is a design that combines God Gundam and a dragon.

Also, the “Master Gundam pattern”, which combines Master Gundam and a tiger, and the “Shining Gundam pattern” from the opening 02 cut will appear.

Long sizes from 2L to 3L are also available.

The price of “STRICT-G Miyata Textile ‘Mobile Fighter G Gundam’ Hanten” is 24,200 yen each (tax included). The long size is 26,400 yen (tax included) each.
Shipping is scheduled for December 2024. Reservations for both are currently being accepted at Premium Bandai’s “STRICT-G Online Store” until 11:00 p.m. on December 8th.

Sales will start from November 23rd at each STRICT-G store.
