Theme cafes commemorating the 50th anniversary of Sanrio’s character “My Melody” will open in Tokyo, Osaka, Aichi, and Miyagi for a limited time from December 12, 2024. The store will offer a special menu with a pink theme.
My Melody debuted in 1975. She is an honest and cheerful girl born on January 18th who cares about her younger brother. The cute hood that my grandma made is a treasure. My hobby is baking cookies. Her favorite food is almond pound cake, and her dream in the future is to become a confectioner. As a member of the Sanrio Characters, he is still loved by many fans even now, celebrating his 50th anniversary since his debut.
The theme cafe “My Melody Cafe ~Heartful Party~” will open for a limited time to commemorate My Melody’s 50th anniversary.
Starting December 12th, the event will be rolled out in four locations: Harajuku, Nagoya, Umeda, and Sendai, with the concept being “My Melody will do its best to provide you with special sweets and gifts.” The interior of the store is pink-based, creating a romantic and cute space.
The menu is also elaborate. As a way of saying “thank you,” we offer “My Melody’s Welcome Omelet Rice” with heart-shaped scrambled eggs and ratatouille, “My Melody Plate” which is like a party plate, and “My Melody’s Plate” with a big heart. Cute dishes such as “My Melody’s Gratin♪” are available.

There is also a wide variety of desserts, including a playful parfait depicting My Melody, a waffle box inspired by a present box, and a birthday menu to celebrate My Melody’s birthday (with limited availability).
Of course, you can also enjoy a special menu of drinks.
In addition, original goods include “acrylic key chains” (6 random types), “hologram can badges” (same), and “wood magnets” (4 random types), as well as items that are easy to use on a daily basis, such as “drawstring purses” and “mugs.” There are many lineups.
At the theme cafe, “square can badges” (10 random types) will be distributed as a special benefit only to those who make reservations in advance. There will also be exclusive benefits for visitors. Cafe visitors will receive a “thank you card” and a visitor campaign will be held on SNS.
Reservations for each venue are currently being accepted on the cafe’s official website. Reservation fee is 660 yen (tax included/1 person). You can reserve up to 4 seats per application. Cafe original goods will also be sold online for a limited time from 12:00 on December 12th to 11:59 pm on March 2nd, 2025.
