YTV Animation, where “Detective Conan” is broadcast every Saturday from 18:00, has decided that “Shin Samuraiden YAIBA” will be broadcast every Saturday from 17:30 from April 2025. You can enjoy an hour of Gosho Aoyama’s world, where action and mystery are two major anime series based on Gosho Aoyama’s original works that have different charms.

“YAIBA,” the original story of “Shin Samuraiden YAIBA,” is an action drama written by Gosho Aoyama, who has released numerous hit works such as “Detective Conan,” “Magic Kaito,” and “4th Third.” . The film depicts the story of Kurogane Yaiba, a wild samurai who trains hard in the jungle, who unexpectedly returns to Japan and pursues his samurai spirit in search of even more strength in his new place of training.

It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1988 and concluded in 1993. The cumulative circulation of all 24 volumes of comics is 17 million copies. Previously, the old TV anime “Kenyu Densetsu YAIBA” was broadcast from 1993 to 1994, and “Shin Samurai Den YAIBA” will be completely animated with WIT STUDIO in charge of animation production. Minami Takayama, who is continuing her role from the previous work, will play the role of the main character Tetsuba, Manaka Iwami will play the role of the heroine Sayaka Mine, and Yoshimasa Hosoya will play the role of Takeshi Onimaru, the rival of the blade.
