“Macross Frontier”, which celebrates its 17th anniversary since its broadcast in 2008, will be releasing an all-time best album that includes songs not included in past albums. “Macross Frontier All-Time Best Album ‘Musume Greatest☆Hits!'” will be released on April 29, 2025, Ranka’s birthday. The limited edition jacket illustration and the release of an analog edition were also revealed.
“Macross Frontier” is a TV anime that aired in 2008 as a commemorative work for the 25th anniversary of the “Macross” series, which celebrated its 40th anniversary since its start.
Set on the 25th new Macross-class immigrant fleet “Macross Frontier” where the mysterious extraterrestrial life form “Vajra” approaches, pilot Alto Saotome, top singer Sheryl Nome, also known as “Galaxy Fairy”, and a girl who aspires to become a singer… It depicts a love triangle between Ranka Lee and flashy mechanical action involving the variable fighter “Valkyrie.”
It has been decided that an all-time best album will be released in 2024, which will be 17 years since the TV broadcast in 2008. This album will be released in three formats: Deculture special edition, limited edition, and regular edition.
