It has been decided that 18 of the TV specials for the anime “Lupin the Third” that have not yet been released on Blu-ray will be made into Blu-ray and will be released for three consecutive months. “Bye-bye Liberty, crisis! “Lupin the Third” is a series based on the comic created by Monkey Punch. A hard-boiled, thrilling, comical, and eccentric story about Lupine the Third, a great thief whose grandfather was the phantom thief Arsène Lupine, and his unique characters. The series has been developed as an animation that captures the atmosphere of each era, and has captivated fans all over the world.
This work has been loved for more than half a century since it was made into a TV anime in 1971, and has been made into movies, OVAs, and games. Now, 18 TV special series that have not previously been released on Blu-ray will be available on Blu-ray.
