“I’d rather be someone else in the next life” Image of the eye colors of Yoshino Somei, Kirishima Miyama, and Shoma Toriashi! Introducing collaboration jewelry using gemstones

A collaboration between the TV anime “The Next Life Is a Stranger” and the jewelry specialty store “KARATZ” has released jewelry based on the eye colors of each character. Sales will start on November 13, 2024 on the mail order site “Karatsu STORE”. From the same day until November 19th, the KARATZ pop-up store will be held at Yurakucho Marui 2nd floor “concept shops” and will be on display and for sale.

“I’d rather be a stranger in the next life” is a gangster love comedy based on the manga written by Asuto Konishi and currently being serialized in Kodansha’s “Afternoon.” A thrill story woven around Yoshino Somei, the grandson of the Somei-gumi leader, a direct descendant of the Kirigaya-gumi, the largest organized crime group in the Kansai region, and Kirishima Miyama, the grandson of the leader of the Miyama family, a direct descendant of the Togusa-kai, the largest organized crime group in the Kanto region. It depicts a gangster entertainment where crazy love and hate come together.

The TV anime, which has been broadcast on TOKYO MX, BS11, and AT-X since October 2024, is produced by Studio Deen under the direction of Toshifumi Kawase, with Hitomi Ueda playing the role of Yoshino Somei and Ishida playing the role of Kirishima Miyama. Akira will be in charge. Other actors include Koji Yusa as Shoshin Toriashi, Yoji Ueda as Renji Somei, Kazuya Nakai as Soi Miyama, Ryota Takeuchi as Aoi Tachibana, Hiroshi Shimosaki as Souta Inamori, Katsuyuki Konishi and Akashi as Takehito Hotei. Rena Ueda will play the role of Katatatsubaki, and Hiroshi Kamiya will play the role of Suo Aki.

This collaboration jewelry between this work and “KARATZ” is a full-fledged piece that uses gemstones that are inspired by each character’s eye color. Three models are available: Yoshino Somei, Kirishima Miyama, and Shoma Toriashi, and there are two types of items: rings and earrings.

The “Somei Yoshino Model” has a design inspired by curly, curly hair. A gemstone in the color of Yoshino’s eyes is placed next to the cherry blossom motif, expressing an attractive appearance full of strong will.

The “Miyama Kirishima Model” incorporates a familiar moving motif from Japanese carving and combines it with cherry blossoms. In the center is a jewel the color of Kirishima’s eyes, giving the image of Kirishima being completely infatuated with Yoshino.

The “Toriashi Shoma Model” is a design inspired by Japanese carving motifs, which are familiar to the origins of Shoma. The center is decorated with cherry blossoms and a jewel the color of Shouma’s eyes, giving the image of Shouma watching intently over Yoshino.

All items can be selected from silver material (SV925) and platinum material (Pt950). A special jewelry case featuring the title logo is also included.

Furthermore, as a purchase bonus, the ring comes with an “acrylic stand,” the earrings come with a “can mirror,” and fans can’t miss the fact that they can also receive a “clear postcard” as a limited-time purchase bonus until the 19th.
