The large shopping event “Sanrio characters Special Anniversary Market” will be held to celebrate the miracle year, which is a special year, including the 50th anniversary of Sanrio’s popular character My Melody, the 20th anniversary of Kuromi, the 50th anniversary of Little Twin Stars, and the 50th anniversary of Sanrio’s official newspaper, Monthly Strawberry Newspaper.
This event began at Ginza Mitsukoshi on Tuesday, April 29th (national holiday) and traveled to department stores across the country until December. A variety of items will be available, mainly limited edition items that can only be purchased at this event, designed to commemorate each anniversary year. Examples of these products have been released.
My Melody and Kuromi are wearing matching outfits based on red and black. These are all set of mascots and stuffed animals S, trading acrylic keychains, FIT tags, cafe curtains, Tsubame-Sanjo stainless steel tumblers, Shimitsu Shui shrimp cheese sandwiches, shopping bags, and more.
The Little Twin Stars is unusually in pink with Kiki and light blue with Lala. In addition to items similar to My Melo & Kuromi, they also offer water-absorbing coasters and tote bags.
The “Strawberry Newspaper 50th Anniversary Limited Product” includes not only My Melo & Kuromi and Little Twin Stars, but also Hello Kitty and Cinnamoroll. Glass magnets, compact mirrors and decoration stickers are available.
In addition, there are plans to further liven up shopping, such as venue decorations and buyer benefits. Please enjoy shopping and celebrate your anniversary year together!
