“Disney” x Uniqlo “UT” on sale♪ “Disney in Blue” by Ai-shi and Dyeing Master BUAISOU

Introducing the beautiful blue collection “Disney in Blue” by Disney and Ai-shi and Dyeing Master BUAISOU. It will be released by Uniqlo’s graphic T-shirt brand “UT.”

Under the supervision of BUAISOU, a dinosaur and dyer who value tradition but attract attention for their manufacturing that makes full use of modern technology, this is “Disney in Blue” inspired by the various shades of natural indigo, and is based on Mickey Mouse and his friends as a motif.

With the cooperation of Walt Disney Company, UT will be releasing it from MAGIC FOR ALL, a project that brings dreams and surprises to people all over the world through clothing, combining Disney’s Dreams and Magic World, Pixar’s Creativity, Marvel’s Action, Star Wars’s Adventures, and Uniqlo’s LifeWear.

“Disney in Blue” features an original design that focuses on the essence of manufacturing and the finest details, including Mickey Mouse, which expresses the blue-dyed hands, and bandana patterns that depict the series of indigo dyeing processes, comparing Mickey Mouse to an indigo dyer.

In the BUAISOU style, the product is made using techniques such as mold dyeing, discharge dyeing, and tie-dyeing, and is reproduced in print based on the finished work. The embroidery thread also gives a blue gradation.

The lineup includes a T-shirt that comes in four patterns from MEN, WOMEN, and KIDS, as well as a unisex cotton linen shirt and WOMEN Easy Shorts.

The sizes available for “Disney in Blue” are XS-4XL for MEN, XS-3XL for WOMEN, and KIDS. Now on sale at Uniqlo stores nationwide and online stores.
