The June issue of Sunday S (Super) special edition, released on April 25th, 2025, comes with a limited edition Detective Conan TCG character card. In addition, all applicants will be provided with a checkered fan to commemorate the movie Detective Conan: One-Eyed Afterimage.
Detective Conan has exceeded 107 volumes of the comic by the original author Aoyama Gosho, with a total circulation of over 270 million copies worldwide.
The movie version, “Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Star,” released last year, marking the 30th anniversary of the original work, reached an unprecedented record of exceeding 15.8 billion yen in box office revenue and breaking the highest box office revenue in the series’ history. The series has attracted a total of 100 million viewers, and the movie version is only gaining more and more momentum.
The latest work, Detective Conan: One-Eyed Afterimage (Flashback), will be released on April 18th. It attracted 2.3 million people within three days of its release, and box office revenue exceeded 3.4 billion yen. It has made its start as the No. 1 series ever, surpassing last year, and is a huge hit that can help you break even more records.
Detective Conan TCG is now included in the Shonen Sunday S special edition. This card is made from the secret materials of Aoyama Gosho from Morobushi Takaaki. Furthermore, next month’s issue will come with a top-secret version of Yamato Dansuke’s top-secret material, so you won’t miss this one either.
All applicants will be offering a lineup of “Sleeping Kogoro & Nagano Prefectural Police’s Ichimatsu Fan” to commemorate the release of the movie. You can enjoy the two of them on both sides.
