It has been revealed that the seventh part of the original will be animated under the title “Steel Ball Run: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” as the latest installment in the animation series of the manga “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” by Araki Hirohiko. With the announcement, image visuals, character visuals, and special report PV have been released. It has also been decided that “JOJOCARAVAN,” a project commemorating the decision to be made into an anime, will be held nationwide, starting with the Shibuya venue.

“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” is a manga by Araki Hirohiko, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1987. The story depicts the blood and fate of the Joester family, beginning with the encounter between two boys, Jonathan Joester and Dio Brando. With the theme of “human hymns,” it is being developed as a spectacular work with a unique technique in which the protagonist changes each section, and the latest work, Part 9, “The JOJOLands,” is currently being serialized.
Part 7 of the seventh part, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7 STEEL BALL RUN, is set in America at the end of the 19th century, depicting the first ever race across North American continental riding. The protagonist, Johnny Joestar, a former paralyzed jockey and paralyzed, enters a partnership with a mysterious outlaw named Gyro Zepelli, and they proceed together in the race. In a race where the two fight each other over a huge prize, and a race filled with even more terrifying plots, will the two be able to reach the goal safely? This series has returned to its roots and is an adventurous feeling.

The anime adaptation was announced at the “JOJODAY STAGE,” a fan event that connects the “total” and “to the future” of the “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” anime series, held on April 12, 2025. Along with this, a special PV has also been released, which will look back on the series, providing an overview of the film while also providing an image visual, character visuals from Johnny Joester and Gyro Ceppelli.
Furthermore, from April 13th, a project called “JoJo Caravan,” a project commemorating the decision to make an anime, has begun at Shibuya SACS in Tokyo, in which the charm of “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 7 STEEL BALL RUN” is being displayed in a reproduction and original drawing of the original work. In addition to color illustrations and reproductions of the monochrome manuscripts of the main manga, photo spots and anime series will also be exhibited at the venue. In addition, limited edition JoJo Caravan goods are also available.
