The four seasons story “Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter Agent: Spring, Dance,” by Akatsuki Kana, author of “Violet Evergarden,” has been decided to be made into a TV anime. “WIT STUDIO,” which has worked on “Attack on Titan” and “SPY x FAMILY,” will be in charge of animation production.
“Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter Agent: Spring Dance” is currently being published in Dengeki Bunko. The setting is a world where “seasonal agents” use special powers given to them by the gods of the four seasons to travel seasons everywhere.
For ten years since the spring agent, Hanaha Hinagiku, disappeared, only spring has been gone in this country’s season. The Spring Guardian Himedaka Sara has been desperately searching for the Lord for ten years, but one day, when Hinagiku suddenly returns, the story begins to move. A journey to bring spring to life by Hinagiku and Sakura begins.
–To regain the precious time that was taken away by the absurdity.
–To convey my feelings to that person who has been in love with me.
–For the sake of “you” who we want to protect even in place of life.
This is the story of the loss and resurrection of the lively god and his guards who bring about the four seasons. The slow-reveals unfold to you, who wish to live no matter how many times you get hurt, will be a prayer story to you.
To commemorate the decision to be made into an anime, the PV and “Spring Visual” have been unveiled, which will be made into an anime.
The “Spring Visual” depicts Hanaha Hinagiku, the spring agent, and her guard, Himetaka Sakura. Hinagiku together with Sakura captures the scene of spring evoking spring in the snowy scenery.
Also, the original author, Akatsuki Kana, commented on the commemoration of the anime adaptation, and wrote, “What kind of journey will the story woven by the current god and the guards take in the anime? We would be happy if you could watch over her with a Yoharu-like gaze.”
Furthermore, illustrations from the original illustration, Suoh, have arrived to commemorate the anime adaptation.
The staff members were also announced. Yamamoto Ken will be directed by Furuhashi Kazuhiro as animation advisor, and animation production will be performed by WIT STUDIO.
The latest information on future works will be announced on the official website and X. We look forward to seeing the voice actors, theme song artists, and broadcast date.
