Disney characters were drawn by painter and contemporary artist Ida Yukimasa. The “YUKIMASA IDA “ONLY TIME WILL TELL” POP UP SHOP POWERED BY ZOZOVILLA” to be held from April 3, 2025 will sell silkscreen and apparel based on the work.
Ida Yukimasa was born in Tottori Prefecture in 1990. In 2019, he completed his oil painting at Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School. He has started his career while he was in school, and has previously received numerous awards, including the Special Judge Award for the CAF Award sponsored by the Contemporary Art Promotion Foundation and the Tottori Prefectural Cultural Encouragement Award. It also attracted attention when his own “Artist Atelier” was installed on the ISS by businessman Maezawa Yusaku.
Ida Yukimasa has recently created a work based on Disney characters. Works will be exhibited and exclusive original merchandise will be sold at the Daikanyama Hillside Terrace/Hillside Forum from April 3rd to April 20th.
The collection includes a wide variety of items that allow you to feel the artwork in your everyday life, including silkscreen works (sold in lottery), T-shirts (available in KIDS), stationery such as postcards, clear files, masking tape, mugs and plates.

With the desire that “time alone knows everything and teaches you,” I am honored to express my passion as an artist and to the history of Disney that Disney has taught me over time. The title of this project was “Only Time Will Tell.”
In 100 years, I will not be in this world. However, I hope that the work will live far beyond me, meet many people, and be a person who will move me.
I have to do the quality work that will make this possible. I think that’s the mission of an artist, and I create works. Disney has achieved my ideal “expressions that are passed down through time.” It’s been 100 years since the Walt Disney Company was born. The characters and stories created by Disney have been passed down and loved by people across countries and generations. In this project, I spent several years making me think about myself as an artist, in the sense of Disney’s achievements and history while expressing myself. This time I drew the characters created by Disney. “Drawing” means fully interpreting the character that is the motif and expressing it through my body.
The production was extremely harsh. However, just like Walt Disney did, I want to bring smiles to you all. That thought drove me towards the screen. And I was able to fully appreciate the passion that I was a Disney artist, which is embedded in the shapes, colors, and all the elements and balances that are unique to the characters, and I took my writing. The fact that one person’s passion for creation has remained so loved for a century and made people happy. As an artist, I sincerely admire him. Someone creates something new. That remains after many years. It will then be transmitted to people and create a rich culture. I think I was able to do that kind of job this time too.
We must continue to create this future. May the world be for today, and what we create, through time, bring courage, happiness and healing to someone living in the future. May time tell me that one day my wish will come true.
