“My Hero Academia” collaboration with “Shimojima’s Stoppale Pattern” including Deku, Bakugo, and Ochako ♪ Retro Fancy Chibi Character Goods are now available

The TV anime “My Hero Academia” collaborates with the original packaging paper “Stoppale” pattern of Shimojima, a packaging product manufacturer. A retro fancy collaboration item using Chibi character illustrations has been released.

The original work of “My Hero Academia” (commonly known as My Hero Academia) is a hero action manga serialized by Horikoshi Kohei in Weekly Shonen Jump. Set in a world where people with supernatural abilities called “individuality” are the norm, the story of the protagonist Deku, Midoriya Izuku, who grows with his friends at U.A. High School, a prestigious hero training group, in order to become a hero who stands up against the criminal “villains” who misuses “individuality.” The original, which was serialized for about 10 years, was completed in August 2024.

The first season of the TV anime series began in April 2016, and the seventh season will air in May 2024. The final chapter, the 8th season, “My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON,” will be aired in autumn 2025. The movie version began with the first film, My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Two Heroes, which was released in August 2018, and the fourth film, My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Your Next, which was released in three years, was released on August 2, 2024.

The official spin-off series TV anime series “Vigilante – My Hero Academia ILLEGALS” will begin airing from April 7th, 2025.

Midoriya Izuku, Bakugo Katsuki, Reiki Ochako, All Might, and Toga Himiko have appeared as goods with the original “Stop Pale” wrapping paper from Shimojima.

The “Stoppale” pattern from Shimojima was a common sight in take-out wrapping paper at stationery and toy stores. The fancy designs of animals and other items became popular during the Showa era, but production was eventually discontinued. However, a reprint was released in 2020, the 100th anniversary of Shimojima’s founding, and its popularity has not waned and has also been collaborating with convenience stores in recent years.

The collaboration between the “Stoppale” pattern and “My Hero Academia” gives the characters a new charm. This retro fancy item, which uses newly drawn chibi character illustrations, will be released as the “Shimojima Collaboration Ver.”
