The synopsis and advance scene cuts for episode 22, “We Need a Hero,” which will air on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, have been released from the winter anime “I’m the Only One Level Up Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-.”
The original work for “The Only I Level Up” is a Korean novel and comic book work that has been produced by Chugong, illustrated by DUBU (REDICE STUDIO), adapted by h-goon (published by D&C Webtoon Biz.), and has a cumulative total of 650 million views on the web comic service Piccoma. The TV anime “Only Me Level Up” aired on January 6th, 2024, and from January 4th, 2025, “Only Me Level Up Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-” began airing.
Set in a world where the passageway between the other dimension and the current world, “gates” exist, and humans with special abilities called “hunters,” Mizushino Shun, the lowest ranked hunter known as the weakest weapon of humanity, suddenly gains the power to “level up” one day, and runs from the weakest to the strongest.
Episode 22 “We Need a Hero” Synopsis
Shun intervenes in a friendly match between S-class hunters with DFN, and shows his talents that everyone can recognize in his battle with Ryu, but decides to decline to participate in the Kaminamijima Raid in order to support his newly awakened mother.
The fourth Kaminamijima Raid, which began without Shun, seemed to be progressing smoothly thanks to Ryu and Mogami’s efforts.
Episode 22 of “I’m the Only One to Level Up Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow-” “We Need a Hero” will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other channels from Saturday, March 8th.
