“Detective Conan” will be aired for the first time, “1 Million Dollar Goryo Star” released last year! Popular movie versions will air three weeks in a row on Kin Law

To commemorate the release of Detective Conan’s latest film, Detective Conan: One-Eyed Afterimage (Flashback), on April 18th, 2025, it has been announced that the popular movie version will be released as the “Three weeks in a row” on the Nippon Television network movie “Friday Roadshow.” “The 14th Target” will air on April 4th, “Strategy on the Horizon” on April 11th, and “The Million Dollar Star” on April 18th.

The setting of “One-Eyed Afterimage” is Mihodake, a mountain range of Yatsugatake in Nagano Prefecture, where ice and snow are raging. The members of the Nagano Prefectural Police who are investigating the incident, as well as Mori Kogoro, will be active as key figures. This is the first time that the movie version has attracted attention as it will be the spotlight on members of the Nagano Prefectural Police, including Yamato Dansuke, Morobushi Takaaki, and Uehara Yui. Furthermore, Mouri Kogoro, who usually acts as the “lost-the-lost detective,” shows a serious expression, and is expected to perform well, saying, “I wonder if I can see the awakened old man.”

Therefore, at this “Three Weeks of Detective Conan Festival,” Mouri Kogoro’s 14th Target and “Conspiracy on the Horizon” will be broadcast. And in the third week, the first uncut film will be aired by “The Million Dollar Star,” released last year, in which Kaito Kid, Heiji and Conan explore the mysteries surrounding Hijikata Toshizo’s Japanese swords in Hokkaido. Over the course of three weeks, special footage will also be delivered at the end of the main story, featuring the new release.

On April 4th, Detective Conan: The 14th Target begins with Inspector Megure, Ran’s mother and lawyer Hime Eri, and Dr. Agasa, who are targeted for their lives. In “Detective Conan: Conspiracy on the Horizon” on April 11th, Sonoko’s Hakakara is invited to the maiden voyage of the luxury cruise ship Aphrodite sailing through the Pacific Ocean. Many famous people and political figures also enjoy an elegant sea cruise, but while playing hide and seek, Sonoko is kidnapped and imprisoned by someone.
Sonoko was rescued safely through Conan’s mystery, but this time a murder occurs on the ship. Conan notices the connection between the accident that occurred in the sinking of the cargo ship, Daiichi Yatsushiro Maru, which occurred 15 years ago, and makes a guess. This is a work that allows you to enjoy the talented old man, with Mori Kogoro’s mystery, which is often out of line with his usual mystery.

On the day of the release of the new release, this will be the first broadcast of Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Star on April 18th. This film was released last year and was the biggest hit in the series with a box office revenue of 15.8 billion yen, and the collaboration between popular characters such as Kaito Kid, Hattori Heiji, and Conan became a hot topic.
The story begins with a notice letter from Kaito Kid arrives in the storage of the Oe Zaibatsu storehouse in Hakodate, Hokkaido. This time, Kid is aiming for a Japanese sword related to Hijikata Toshizo, the vice-president of the Shinsengumi who lived during the end of the Edo period. Why does Kaito Kid, who has been pursuing only the gems known as Big Jewels, aim for a sword? Meanwhile, the great detectives of the West Hattori Heiji and Conan and others also visited the area for the kendo tournament to be held in Hakodate.
