The mystery novel “Amaku Takao’s Mystery Medical Record” has been decided to be made into a live-action version. It will begin airing as a serial TV drama on TV Asahi from 9pm on April 22, 2025. It has also been revealed that the latest feature film in the series, “The Mirror Elixir: Amaku Takao’s Incident Medical Record,” will be released on April 4th.

“Amaku Takao’s Mystery Medical Record” is a medical mystery novel that has sold over 3.6 million copies, woven by Chinen Mikito, an active doctor and bestselling author, and Ito Noiji, an illustrator who has worked on “Shakugan no Shana” and “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.”
This solid medical mystery, depicted by Chinen, which swells his imagination based on actual cases, quickly became popular. TV anime will also be broadcast and streamed from January 2025, making it a work that is currently attracting a lot of attention.
