[New Bungeiza x Anime Style vol.187] Avant-garde animation masterpiece “Kimonogatari – Koyomi Vamp”

The screening program to be held on Sunday, March 23rd is “[Shin Bungeiza x I am Anime vol. 187]A masterpiece of avant-garde animation, “Kimonogatari – Koyomi Vamp.”

The trilogy of “Kikumonogatari (I: Tetsukonaro),” “II: Hot Bloody” and “III: Cold Bloody” are filmed on NisiOisiN’s novel “Kikumonogatari.” This “Kibumo Monogatari – Koyomi Vamp” is reconstructed and put together into a single feature-length animation.
While “Kizumonogatari – Koyomi Vamp” is an entertainment work, it is a keen work that pierced the creator’s sense of beauty throughout the entire film. Enjoy the big screen and sound of the cinema.

The guest for the talk is director Oishi Tatsuya. We will discuss your creative roots, stance, and the aim of making “Kikumonogatari” into a film. The interviewer is I am Anime Editor-in-Chief Oguro.

Although “Kibu Monogatari” is a work in the Monogatari series, it is a prequel to “Bakemonogatari,” the first work in the Monogatari series. Even those who have not seen the series will understand it.
