It has been announced that the first chapter of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle” will be released on July 18th, 2025. With the announcement, the latest footage, the “Promotion Reel 2025” and the key visual will also be unveiled. Information on movie tickets, which will be released on March 7th, has also been revealed.

“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is an anime based on a manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, with a total of 23 volumes published by Shueisha’s Jump Comics and has sold over 150 million copies. The story follows Kamado Tanjiro, a boy whose family was killed by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps in order to turn his younger sister Nezuko, who has become a demon, into a human, and throws himself into a battle with demons. The sad story of humans and demons, the terrifying swordplay, and the comical scenes that are occasionally depicted, make them popular.

The anime produced by ufotable has been developing a series, starting with the TV anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” in April 2019, and has been developing a series. After the final episode of the TV anime “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” Pillar Rehearsal Edition, which aired in May 2024, it was announced that “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugenjou” will be produced as a trilogy.

It has been announced that the first chapter of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle” will be released on July 18th, 2025. It has also been announced that the film will be released simultaneously on the first day at IMAX, and that it will be the largest theater in Japan, with 443 theaters nationwide (regular edition: 390 theaters + IMAX edition: 53 theaters), surpassing the “Mugen Train” released in 2020. In addition, screenings will be held in more than 150 countries and regions around the world. Starting with its domestic release, the film will expand its scope even further with the “World Tour Screening” that has been held twice in the past, domestic and international theaters.

Along with the announcement, a key visual that predicts the beginning of the battle for the Infinite Castle, depicting the demon slayer and demons, including Tanjiro, with the endless Infinite Castle behind him, was also unveiled. Finally, the final battle is turned down.

In addition, the Movie Ticket Card-type advance ticket “Collect Visual Ver.”, which uses this key visual, will begin on March 7th. Also, from April 4th, seven different movie tickets will be released with designs based on character combinations. A total of eight different movie tickets, including the “group visual version,” and a “special set” with a special backing board will be sold. Both will be available in limited quantities, so fans don’t miss out.
