891st “Virtua Fighter” and Telecom

All episodes of “Virtua Fighter” are now available on the official TMS anime channel on YouTube!

So I found myself drawing videos during my days as telecom (animation film) and played around with them (it’s a breather from work).

Even though I’ve been working from 30 years ago, I remember quite a few videos I drew!

The fact that he remembers the parts in the video means that the original artist also remembers it. There are also some edits and revisions by Aoyama (Hiroyuki).
Telecom was in charge of four films, #08, #10, #13, and #17. There must have been all four videos, but there is a limit to the number of people that can be included in the staff roll, so I’m sure my name was listed in #10 and #17. Among them, #17 was disappointed with the typo “Sakagaki Nobu”… (sweat).
At the time, Telecom had cuts of internal videos lined up on shelves, and they had a system where you could choose whatever you like, so I only made videos with the aim of my favorite action scenes. Not only the aforementioned Aoyama Hiroyuki, but also Yazaki Kenji, Kawaguchi Takashi, Nishimi Shojiro, Akagi Hiroaki, and Tanaka Atsuko, as well as incredibly skilled people still existed at Telecom as their seniors. Virtua Fighter was a place where I learned various drawing techniques by making these clever original drawings into videos. This was a work from a newcomer who had a lot of memories, and it was just as valuable as the videos from Ghibli films.

I’m also running through this while I was working. Thank you, TMS official! If possible, please also have all the episodes of “Monster Farm”! This is a work I enjoyed using the original artwork, and I can no longer watch the ones I used to record on my VHS. I want to see it for the first time in a while!
