“Yamato, forever” battleship Arizona also appears! Chapter 3 “Gunjo Asteroid” Main visual and preview of the original

The latest installment in the remake series of the anime “Space Battleship Yamato”, “Yamato, Forever REBEL 3199”, will begin screening of “Chapter 3: Gunjo Asteroid” from April 11, 2025. The main visual and the present trailer have been released. Starting today, February 14th, the second Movie Ticket Card, which features a poster that uses the main visual, has also begun sale.

“Yamato, Forever, REBEL3199” is based on “Yamato, Forever,” and “Space Battleship Yamato III” and is a series reconstructed with a new interpretation and a series of seven chapters (26 episodes in total) with a new interpretation. This is the latest installment in the ‘ series. Does the title “3199” refer to what happens in a thousand years? What hidden connection does Desarium have between him and the earth, who appeared as an adversary? The surprise shown at the end of the previous film continues to expand.

The drama side is becoming even more fulfilling, with Moriyuki being captured by enemy officer Alfon, and Kodai Susumu unable to escape from his self-restraint. Their love is exposed to the trial of separation, and Stasha’s orphan, Sasha, is also heavily involved. As all the characters act with will, a fierce battle unfolds, and the meaning of the battle is once again questioned.

In Chapter 3: Asteroids of the Gunjo, a strange daily life begins when Space Battleship Yamato coexists with Deserium on Earth. Fleur, a young girl from Deserium, transfers to the elementary school that Kato Saburo’s memento Tsubasa attends. They gradually become familiar with their surroundings, and people accept it.

But is Deserium truly a well-intentioned messenger who appeared to change unfortunate history? Partisans, centered around the former Yamato Fleet crew, plan a large-scale rebellion operation to appeal to the public about their true identity.

Meanwhile, Space Battleship Yamato was about to sweep away from the pursuit of the transparent battleship Grodez and entered the Garman system. Will Kodai Susumu, who has lost everything, be able to rise up again? And what is the fate of Sasha, who was kidnapped?

From this work, the main visual, drawn by character designer Yuki Nobuteru, and a new cut featuring the battleship Arizona, which also appeared in the original work, has been released.

In addition, the second movie ticket card for “Chapter 3: Gunjo Asteroid,” which features a poster that uses the main visual, will also be available at screening theaters and online shopping sites nationwide from today, February 14th.
