The film “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle” will be released nationwide on February 21, 2025. It has been announced that on February 21st, the first day of the release of this film, a stage greeting will be held on the opening day, in which 14 gorgeous voice actors including Kimura Subaru from each division will gather together. In addition, stage greetings will be held for a total of 16 openings, starting the following day, February 22nd, for two weeks, touring the six cities over five days.
“Hypnosis Mic” is a music-based character rap project that started in September 2017. A total of 18 unique main characters will be divided into six teams: “Ikebukuro Division,” “Yokohama Division,” “Shibuya Division,” “Shinjuku Division,” “Osaka Division,” and “Nagoya Division,” and “The Prestige of Man.” It depicts the story of a passionate rap battle.
The first film adaptation of “Hypnosis Mic – Division Rap Battle-” is not a simple film, but rather the winner of a rap battle that takes place on screen is decided by the audience vote in the theater, making it the first theatrical film in Japan to participate in audiences. It’s a type of interactive film.
