Voice actor Suzuki Tatsuhisa writes an essay, reads it aloud, and then makes it into apparel! “glamb” collaboration has appeared
Welcome back to the I Am Anime website
Introducing a collaboration item between voice actor Suzuki Tatsuhisa and elegant rock fashion brand glamb. Orders will be accepted until February 26th, 2025, and an exhibition featuring Suzuki Tatsuhisa will be held in Shibuya, Tokyo on February 23rd and 24th.

Suzuki Tatsuhisa is a voice actor who has played an active role in Tachibana Makoto in “Free!” and Kurosaki Ranmaru in “Uta no Prince-sama♪.” Suzuki Tatsuhisa has recently collaborated with glamb, a brand that offers elegant rock fashion with the concept of “Grunge for Luxury.”
glamb has previously collaborated with anime titles such as “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” and “Chainsaw Man.”
The theme of this collaboration was the idea of combining voices and fashion. This idea is embodied through four production steps, first by Suzuki Tatsuhisa writing a short essay that looks back on himself. Next, glamb created a graphics based on this, and after adding to the essay, Suzuki Tatsuhisa himself read and recorded it.
Glamb then traces the waveform of the voice created by the reading and puts it into the design to complete the apparel. Finally, this is an experiential clothing that can be completed by the buyer “wrap clothes and listening to the voice.”

Furthermore, each product has a tag with a QR code attached to it, and when you load it, you can watch the essay reading that serves as the basis for your design. If you feel the person’s acting and understand the circumstances behind the creation of the items, you will likely enjoy your outfit even more deeply than regular clothes.

The lineup includes four types in total. “Orange Sweat” is a sweatshirt born from the essay “Orange,” which Suzuki Tatsuhisa wrote about the sights he saw in his youth. It is a key item in this collaboration, with boldly decorated original characters created in accordance with the wishes of the person himself.

The short-sleeved T-shirt “Microphone T-Shirt” is based on the essay “Microphone,” which looks back on Suzuki Tatsuhisa’s first time standing in front of the microphone. The essay is translated into English and is splattered with the microphone pattern, and the waves are accented with accent colors.

“No Individuality T-Shirt,” also a short-sleeved T-shirt, is based on the essay “No Individuality,” which looks back at the cursed words thrown at his acting. The words written by Suzuki Tatsuhisa are translated into English, and the actual waveform is used as accent colors on top of the shaped mask.
And “Curiosity T-Shirt” was born from the essay “curiosity,” which describes the endless desires within him. The silhouette of the glamb sneakers that Suzuki Tatsuhisa often wears is scattered with words that appear in essays. Furthermore, the design features accent colors with the waves created by the person reading it.

For both apparel, the body is an oversized silhouette that matches Suzuki Tatsuhisa’s fashion style and can be worn by unisex. Suzuki Tatsuhisa has posted comments on various apparel, so be sure to read it.
In addition, the “glamb x Suzuki Tatsuhisa Collaboration Exhibition” exhibition where you can actually pick up collaborative items will also be held on February 23rd and February 24th. It will be held at glamb Tokyo in Harajuku, Tokyo, and the event will be held at the same time as an art exhibition of Suzuki Tatsuhisa’s art zip ‘That’.
Three divisions will be held from 12:00 to 6:00pm each day, and Suzuki Tatsuhisa himself will also be there at the beginning. In addition, advance reservations are required to visit, and the special website will be open until February 10th.
All four collaboration items between voice actor Suzuki Tatsuhisa and the brand “glamb” are available for orders and on sale at the glamb Online Store and Harajuku Glamb Tokyo until February 26th. Delivery is scheduled for early April.
Orange Sweat
“Orange” was written with the theme of the scenery, which was my original experience, traumatic and driving, and glamb turned it into a creature as a character.
The creatures are surrounded by actual voice waveforms, creating a more in-depth expression that is different from traditional flat character print items.
Microphone T-Shirt
The microphone, which is the motif of the design, was drawn from the early models when humans began using microphones as electric loudspeakers.
With that history, we are now able to record sound with a microphone, and it has been 24 years since I have been spending time with the microphone.
The essays are personal, but the design is a meta-expression based on history.
No Individuality T-Shirt
I have experienced many experiences in the play scenes where the era name has changed to Reiwa, such as “overdoing” in modern values.
How you view this as a result is up to you whether it’s good or bad.
I can’t tolerate words and actions that violate individual human rights, but I feel that some of them have led to their own talents.
This is an item that I have asked myself whether it is okay to just dismiss everything using the word compliance.
Curiosity T-Shirt
I wrote this essay while revising how I was taking the first step from where it stopped.
When I make something, I say, “Now, what shall we do? When someone says to me, I always sharpen my input and thinking so that I can say, “I’ve been wondering about this lately” or “I’ve been thinking about this recently.”
I realized that this would eventually lead to a step.
