The synopsis and advance scene cuts for episode 29, “Tsukisei,” which will air on Friday, February 7th, 2025, have been released from the winter anime “The Apothecary’s Monologue.”

“The Apothecary’s Monologue” is based on a novel that has sold over 38 million copies in total by Hinata Natsu, published by Hero Bunko and has also been adapted into comics for Big Gangan and Sunday GX. It’s fun-solving entertainment. Set in the medieval East, the story depicts Nekoneko, a girl who plays the role of “Dogbi,” solving various difficult cases that occur at the Imperial Court one after another.

When the first season of the TV anime began airing in October 2023, it was always ranked high in viewing rankings on each streaming platform, and became a hot topic, winning the special award at the TVer Awards 2023. The second season, which will be broadcast in two consecutive seasons from January 10th, 2025, has been rising since the start, with the opening theme being decided to be “Hyakuka Ryoran” by Ikuta Rira.

Episode 29 “Tsukisei” Synopsis

In order to meet the impossible challenge from the envoy who “want to meet the moon spirit,” Nekoneko hears from the “Moon spirit” who has been in the geisha district for over 50 years – a brilliant woman from Midoriseikan, who has heard about her back then.
