It has been found that the manga exhibition “Art of Manga”, the first in the United States, will be held in San Francisco in September 2025. An exhibition will be held on September 27, 2025 at the De Young Museum of Art, focusing on the original drawings by eight manga artists, such as Hirohiko Araki, Eiichiro Oda, and Rumiko Takahashi.
“ART OF MANGA” is the first manga exhibition on the US continent to be held by Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco, the largest public art institution in California at the De Young Museum.
Until now, a very small exhibition in Comicon and the like has been stayed in the Americas, and an exhibition has never been held as a comprehensive art. The De Young Museum will focus for the first time as an American continent to the unique art form called manga.
At the exhibition, there are more than 700 points with over 700 points with 8 popular manga artists, Hirohiko Araki, Eiichiro Oda, Rumiko Takahashi, Gengo Taniguchi, Yamazaki Kimari, Kazumi Yamashita, Kazumi Yamashita, Fumi Yoshinaga, which exceeds the boundaries of publishers.
