Additionally, along with the theme song being decided, an anime music video full of new scenes was also released.

“Mononokai” is derived from “Bakeneko,” a part of “Kai ~ayakashi~,” which recorded an unusually high viewership rating on Fuji TV’s “Noitamina” slot in 2006, and was broadcast as a TV series in 2007. This anime has been extremely popular for 17 years since its release.
The story unfolds as a mysterious man, a drug dealer, travels through different countries in order to quell the monsters caused by the Mononokai possessed by people’s passions and grudges.

In July 2024, the first chapter of the first three-part animated film “Mononokai the Movie: Karagasa” will be released. Driven by the enthusiasm of the fans who had been waiting for the film, it achieved an astonishingly long run.
