The film is being shown in a total of 426 theaters, including 52 IMAX theaters, since January 17th. The film started off as a big hit, with box office revenue of 598 million yen and audience attendance of 352,000 people over the three-day weekend ending January 19th, ranking No. 1 in the weekend audience attendance rankings according to Kogyo Tsushinsha. This deluxe booklet contains the original setting material by the creators of this work that could not be included in the pamphlet, and the cover illustration uses a character design drawn by Take.
