January 22nd is “Curry Day”.
It was established to commemorate the day in 1982 when curry was served at school lunches at elementary and junior high schools across the country. Curry and rice is said to have been introduced from England during the Meiji period, and is now beloved as Japan’s national food.
Many characters related to curry appear in anime as well.Some of them love extremely spicy curry, some have curry as their specialty, and some even have characters with designs inspired by curry itself…There are many scenes where curry colors the story.
Anime there! anime! Well then“What do you mean by ‘curry’ character?”Continuing from last year, we will be conducting a reader survey titled. Please answer in free response format which character and title of the work you think this is.
