In the anime slot of Yomiuri TV/Nippon Television and YTV Animation every Saturday from 5:30 pm, “Ao no Mibro” will be broadcast in January 2025, and “Shin Samuraiden YAIBA” will be broadcast in April 2025. Both works have one thing in common: the main characters are samurai. A collaboration commercial featuring the two samurais miraculously co-starring has been released.
“Ao no Miburo” is a popular work serialized in “Shonen Magazine” by Tsuyoshi Yasuda, who also worked on “DAYS,” which has sold over 13 million copies in the series. The story depicts the story of a kind-hearted boy, Nio, who begins his life when he meets a member of the Mibu Roshi-gumi, commonly known as “Miburo”, who later becomes the Shinsengumi. The film depicts a young boy risking his life as he deepens his bonds with his friends and engages in numerous battles while asking himself why he is facing the enemy.
The anime, which began broadcasting in October 2024, recently aired the final episode of the first season, and next week will finally begin the second season, “Blood Risshidan”.
“Shin Samuraiden YAIBA” is a manga “YAIBA” that was serialized in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” from 1988 to 1993 by Gosho Aoyama, who worked on “Detective Conan” and “Magic Kaito.” A complete animation of. The story begins when Iron Blade, who was training hard in the jungle to become a true samurai, returns to Japan by chance and meets his destined rival, Takeshi Onimaru. This is an action drama in which the blade seeks even more strength and advances in line with the spirit of the samurai.
This collaboration commercial was produced by YTV Animation to commemorate the broadcast of both works. In the movie, there is also a development in which the blades send messages to each other.
