Talking experience phone call with My Melody & Kuromi and “matching” new costumes will also be unveiled ♪ Commemorative event will be held at Puroland

The event “My Melody & Kuromi Anniversary Party” commemorating My Melody’s 50th anniversary and Kuromi’s 20th anniversary will start at Sanrio Puroland from January 17, 2025.

The event is filled with events such as a hands-on shop inspired by My Melody & Kuromi, the unveiling of new costumes, a birthday campaign to celebrate birthdays, limited-time menus, and sales of original goods.

■Experiential shop “My Melody & Kuromi Shop”

From January 17th, the first experience-based shop “My Melody & Kuromi Shop” will open on the 4th floor. A space with a mature atmosphere is created with a pink and black “matching” motif inspired by My Melody and Kuromi.

It’s packed with content that lets you know what’s going on at My Melody and Kuromi’s party, including a phone where you can experience chatting with My Melody and others, and a monitor where you can enjoy their conversation. This shop uses sound and images to incorporate interactive elements. The end date has not been determined.

■“Matching” new costume

My Melody & Kuromi will appear in cute and cool new costumes inspired by “Matching Birthday”. My Melody’s base is pink, and Kuromi’s is black, with ribbons of each color interspersed as a focal point.

It’s also interesting to look for “matching points” such as tiaras and lace-up designs. It will be unveiled at special greetings and birthday parties.

■Birthday campaign

My Melody’s birthday is January 18th, the day after the first day of the event. In conjunction with this, a limited quantity of the anniversary item “Birthday Doll” will be sold. There is also a handover event (February 1st to 3rd, 2025/fee required) where you can receive a birthday doll from My Melody and take a commemorative photo.

From January 17th to March 31st, “My Melody 50th Anniversary Melo Melody ◎ Birthday Illumination”, a must-see for My Melody fans, will be held (◎ is actually a heart symbol).

Kuromi will also be holding a birthday campaign on her birthday (October 31st).

■Sale of limited time menus and original goods

A limited-time food menu (6 types in total) will be available from January 10, 2025, a little earlier than the start of the “My Melody & Kuromi Anniversary Party” event. We sell anniversary chocolate cakes and other items that are perfect for celebrations.

Don’t miss out on the anniversary limited edition goods that you can enjoy matching. There are many items that are easy to use on a daily basis, such as “headbands,” “quilt bags,” and “shopping bag-style pouch sets.”

Sanrio Puroland “My Melody & Kuromi Anniversary Party” will be held from January 17, 2025 to December 31, 2025.
