From the “Mobile Suit Gundam” anime “G’s Reconguista”, the mobile suit G-Self appears in Tamashii Nations’ figure brand “ROBOT Spirits”. “METAL ROBOT Spirits G-Self (Perfect Pack)” is now available for pre-order at Premium Bandai.

“G’s Reconguista” is Yoshiyuki Tomino’s first “Gundam” TV anime series in 15 years since “∀ Gundam,” and a total of 26 episodes were aired from 2014 to 2015. Tomino not only directed the film as general director, but also wrote all the scripts himself, and poured his heart and soul into writing the story of the encounter between a young boy, Bellri, set in the “Reguild Century,” a time beyond the “Universal Century.”

From 2019 to 2022, a theatrical version of the entire 5-part series with new cuts will be released. October 3, 2024 will mark the 10th anniversary of the start of the TV series.

This time, the mobile suit (MS) “G-Self” from this work has appeared in Tamashii Nations’ action figure brand “ROBOT Spirits”.
This is a brand of robot figures aimed at high-end customers, created by the heart of loving robots, the “robot spirit,” and is a brand that has sculpted numerous robots into three-dimensional models with an overwhelming degree of perfection.

A prototype MS developed in the space colony nation of Towasanga based on the “Hermes Rose Blueprint.” The model number is YG-111. He was named G-Self by Aida Surgan, a member of Amelia’s pirate squad.

This product uses die-cast parts for some joints, internal frames, thruster nozzles on the legs, etc. In order to support the large Perfect Pack, the proportion of die-cast parts used in the lower body of the G-Self body has been increased to improve stability.

Markings placed all over the body are designed using the work’s setting font. It increases the amount of information without compromising the worldview.
In addition, the characteristic camera eye expression that was updated in the movie version is also reproduced with pad printing, giving it a beautiful appearance without sacrificing the texture.

A high-power beam rifle made by Towasanga is included as an armed part. Melee weapon beam sabers are equipped on the left and right collars. Additionally, the iconic Photon Armor Shield (commonly known as the Copy and Paste Shield) can be fitted with “Copy and Paste Shield Effect Parts” that reproduce the beam plane.

The state-of-the-art backpack was jointly assembled by Venus Globe’s engineers and Megafauna’s mechanic man Happa, and uses plenty of clear parts to recreate the image from the movie.

The remote control terminal “Traffic Fin” equipped with such a perfect pack can also be displayed in a firing state.
In reflector mode, the left and right clear parts are deployed, and the assault pack reproduces the firing form of the mega cannon, making it perfect for various poses.

The perfect pack is removable. Furthermore, the photon batteries in the legs can be removed, so you can create the situation of the Mack Knife battle in Part 4 of the movie.

The special pedestal, which is indispensable for posing G-Self, who often flies not only in space battles but also after falling into the atmosphere, is designed with an image of the ending line dance. Two support columns are also included, so you can display it stably.

The price of “METAL ROBOT Spirits G-Self (Perfect Pack)” is 22,000 yen (tax included).
