“Jujutsu Kaisen” Volume 29 and final volume 30 will be released simultaneously on December 25th! A newspaper advertisement featuring Gojo, Nanami, and Enso, drawn by Akutami, is now available.

Volume 29 and final volume 30 of the manga “Jujutsu Kaisen” will be released simultaneously on December 25th. Volume 30 will also include a 16-page newly drawn manga depicting the epilogue. To commemorate the release, newspaper advertisements using original illustrations by the original author Gege Akutami appeared in the morning editions of three national newspapers on December 24th.
“Jujutsu Kaisen” began serialization in “Weekly Shonen Jump” from issue 14 of 2018 (released on March 5, 2018), and concluded with issue 44 of 2024 (released on September 30 of the same year). A dark fantasy manga by Gege Akutami. The story begins when the seal of a powerful “curse” is broken, and high school student Yuji Kojo steps into a world of battles that revolve around curses. Including the two volumes that will be released simultaneously on December 25th, there are a total of 30 volumes of comics, and volume 0 is also on sale as “Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu College”. The cumulative circulation of the series, including the digital version, exceeds 100 million copies.
The first season of the anime was broadcast from October 2020 to March 2021, and the movie “Jujutsu Kaisen 0″ released in December 2021 was a huge hit with cumulative worldwide box office revenue of 26.5 billion yen. It was recorded and sparked a huge movement. The second season, which aired from July to December 2023, was also well-received for its overwhelming quality, and the sequel “Death Kaiyu” is currently in production and is getting more and more exciting.
The long-awaited volume 29 and final volume 30 of this work will be released simultaneously on December 25th. The highlight of Volume 30 is that it also includes 16 pages of newly drawn manga depicting the epilogues of “Yuko Ozawa”, “Panda”, “Kugizaki Nobara”, and “Uraume”. In addition, to commemorate the simultaneous release of the two comics, an area management advertisement in front of Shibuya Station featuring popular characters is currently being posted. In addition, some bookstores will also be distributing illustrated cards (4 types) drawn by Akutami.
Newspaper advertisements using three of these illustrations were published in the morning editions of three national newspapers today, December 24th, the day before the release date. The illustrations are by Satoru Gojo for the Yomiuri Shimbun, Kento Nanami for the Asahi Shimbun, and Fuso for the Mainichi Shimbun.
A newspaper advertisement using the one remaining illustration will also be published in the morning edition of one national newspaper on the 25th, the day of release, so fans should not miss it. Even after the series ends, I can’t take my eyes off Jujutsu Kaisen.
