Yostar announced on December 12th that Sakura Tange, the voice actor for the role of Renga Celino, who appears in the smartphone game “Blue Archive (hereinafter referred to as “Blue Aca”), will be leaving the role.

The announcement details the circumstances leading up to her resignation, and says that in May 2022, Sakura Tange’s agency, Picnic Co., Ltd., requested her to withdraw from the role. As a result of discussions between the two parties, the performance was continued as a temporary hold at that stage.

After that, after repeated consideration and discussions in October 2024, Yostar accepted the offer and decided to withdraw from the project based on mutual agreement.

Renga Celino, played by Mr. Tange, will be implemented from April 29, 2021, at the beginning of the service launch of this work. “Blue Archive” official X says, “The entire staff of “Blue Archive” would like to thank Sakura Tange for supporting the work as Renga Celino for the past four years.”

Also, on the same day, Sakura Tange’s official blog was updated. “Thank you very much to everyone who played and to the staff who helped with the recording.”

The cast who will take over the role of Cerino Renga has not yet been decided. The selection process is currently underway, and the character voices implemented in the game will be put on hold until the voice replacements are ready.
