The movie “Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle-” will be released nationwide on February 21, 2025. The latest trailer video has been released, raising expectations for Japan’s “first” audience-participation . It has been revealed that there will be a total of 48 stories, 16 new songs, and 7 endings.

“Hypnosis Mic” is a character rap project based on music that started in September 2017. A total of 18 unique main characters are divided into 6 teams: “Ikebukuro Division”, “Yokohama Division”, “Shibuya Division”, “Shinjuku Division”, “Osaka Division”, and “Nagoya Division”, and fight for the prestige of men. A heated rap battle unfolds.

The project started out as a complete unknown, but soon after the first music video was released, it was ranked in the YouTube rankings. With its innovative worldview and high quality songs, it quickly took the music scene by storm, and its CDs, whose lyrics and music were written and composed by famous artists in the hip hop world, are always in the top 10 of music rankings. And in 2020 it will be made into an anime. Since then, a variety of media mixes have been developed, including comics, game apps, and stage plays. Its popularity is not limited to music fans; it has gained wide support and has become a major piece of content with many enthusiastic fans.

In the latest trailer video released, the last division rap battle is announced by Touhou Tenotome, leader of the Kotonoha Party in Nakao Ward.
