“Ranma 1/2” Ranma and Shampoo are pop, cute and emotional…♪ Beam collaboration items drawn by three artists are now available

To commemorate the start of the broadcast of the completely new Ranma 1/2 TV anime, collaboration items with Mangart Beams are now available. A total of 11 items, including T-shirts and pouches, designed with original artwork by artists Misaki Tanaka, Den-Q, and Conix are on sale at Beams stores and the official online shop.

“Ranma 1/2” is written by Rumiko Takahashi, who is also known for “Urusei Yatsura”, “Maison Ikkoku”, “Inuyasha”, “Kyoukai no RINNE”, “MAO”, etc., and published in “Weekly Shonen Sunday” issues 36, 1987 to 12, 1996. It is a fighting love comedy that was serialized in Japan and is still extremely popular today.

The story begins when the father, Genma Saotome, and his son, Ranma, who were training in China, come to the Tendo family. However, what appeared there was a giant panda and a cute girl. As a result of Ranma’s training in China, he had developed a strange condition in which he turned into a woman when he poured water on himself, and turned back into a man when he poured hot water on him. Ranma and his friends involve the unique people around them, and they cry, laugh, and sometimes fall in love.

To commemorate the start of broadcasting of this completely new TV anime from this fall, we have collaborated with Mangart Beams, a project that handles a wide range of manufacturing and branding for pop culture and entertainment.

Ranma Saotome, Ranma (female), Akane Tendou, Ryoga Hibiki, and Shampoo will be available in a total of 11 types, including sweatshirts, T-shirts, tote bags, pouches, and stickers.

All of them use works drawn by artists Misaki Tanaka, Den-Q, and Conix. The graphics of “Ranma 1/2”, which are drawn using three different expressions, are stylish and stylishly designed.

A total of 11 collaboration items between “Ranma 1/2” and “Mangat Beams” will be on sale from December 6, 2024 at 3 Beams Japan stores and the official Beams online shop, ZOZOTOWN.
